In Febuary 2012 we took in a new forever wild family member his name is Pedro he is a military macaw that likes to do a little techno robot dance. Pedro's owner had died of cancer and Pedro was taken in by a local family. Due to personal problems the family could no longer care for him. They found Forever Wild and now Pedro has a new forever home. He will make a great addition to our beautiful parrot family. He needs alot of work with a bath nails and wings clipped and a proper diet to bring back his color but he is already enjoying his fresh fruit and vegies and loves to flirt with the girls.

The Military Macaw (Ara militaris) is a large parrot and a medium-sized member of the macaw genus. Though considered vulnerable as a wild species, it is still commonly found in the pet trade industry.
