Taj came to live with us in December of 2006. He was bought to perform in a show. Taj was discovered to have a eye problem with possible cataracts in both eyes. The breeder that the performers bought Taj from offered to replace him with a new healthy cub, but would in turn put Taj down because of his defect. The performers could not let this happen but knew he would not be able to work with the other animals or in the show so they decided to give Taj to us.

After staying with Forever Wild his eye problem has healed, and our vet assures us that he can see just fine.
